Last Friday I performed at the beautiful KULTURHAVEN Microfestival southwest of Oslo. Approaching Midsummer, I played on a wonderful Boesendorfer Baby Grand piano under a never ending Skandivian sunset. At first overwhelmed by the contemplative silence of the Norwegian audience, I was surprised when they starting cheering, stamping and clapping during standing ovations in the end. Later on, I got the chance to meet the renowed Norwegian artists Hanne Krogh, Wenche Myhre and Anders Eljas at the festival! So now, see you next year – and tusen takk!
